Hello! I'm a hands-on engineering leader with 20+ years of total experience, focused on solving technological and business challenges.

As the Head of the Research and Development department at Liferay Cloud, I lead some of the most important initiatives in the company, spread across multiple teams and technologies. I am responsible for making strategic architectural decisions, providing technical guidance, and doing people management.

I have expertise in Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and my background is mostly in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Go, Java, and C.

During the years, I also hired, mentored, and managed several key talents.

I was a technical editor of a few books, like: “React: Up & Running” (first edition), and “YUI 2.8: Learning the Library”.

I love Open Source. I have created several open-source projects and contributed to many.
